The successful candidate will report into the national security team in Washington and will be 
responsible for breaking news, analysis and in-depth features on topics ranging from the reliability of voting machines to the potential for foreign interference in the election through social media.
The job will require close coordination with colleagues on other related beats, such as cybersecurity, intelligence and law enforcement. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to break news in this field as well as a keen knowledge of the security and political dynamics that define the issue.
