S&P Global seeks associate editor for real estate

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an Associate Editor for its Real Estate news team, which covers the REIT, homebuilding and gaming sectors. On a daily basis, you will edit for accuracy, style and content news articles covering a range of topics, including M&A, executive moves, capital markets activity and property transactions.

You will also help shape our coverage by contributing story ideas, vetting news leads and compiling daily and weekly publications. You will use your strong leadership skills to coach and mentor team members. You will suggest ways to improve our processes and coverage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism
  • 2-3 years of professional journalism experience
  • Must be able to simultaneously management multiple projects and deadlines
  • Fluency in journalistic areas (AP style, libel issues, etc.) Strong editing skills a must.
