The Southeast Missourian is looking for a business reporter to cover a thriving business community.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who is fair-minded and enjoys networking with those in the business community. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to write breaking news, feature stories and analysis pieces with precision accuracy.
The business reporter must be a multitasker, able to juggle weekly and monthly assignments as well as daily responsibilities. At least three years of experience of daily newspaper reporting is preferred, but not required.
The Southeast Missourian consistently earns awards among the best in the nation for newspapers its size. Cape Girardeau is located about 90 minutes south of St. Louis and is the largest city between St. Louis and Memphis.
