Sojourners is looking for writers to contribute stories that explore the vast motivations behind people of faith involved in justice work.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Sojourners magazine and digital publication addresses issues of faith, politics, and culture from a biblical perspective. Sojourners reaches 5 million readers annually – educating, inspiring, and mobilizing readers to put their faith in action for social justice.
What type of stories are we interested in? Succinctly: Faith and justice. We’re looking for stories that explore the vast motivations behind people of faith involved in justice work. There’s great examples across sojo.net
ABOUT THE ROLE
The online news team at Sojourners is looking for more freelance reporters to work with. Right now, we are especially looking for people with reporting and news experience. We love to help folks become reporters, but we also need people who are familiar with the inverted pyramid, the rush of breaking news, etc.
While we’re always grateful for reporters with religion experience (personally or professionally) it is not a requirement — we’d love to help established reporters add religion stories to their clips!
