Ian Stevenson
Ian Stevenson has been hired by E&E News to cover energy, including oil and gas and offshore renewables.
He will also cover public lands and the Interior Department. He previously covered state politics and climate change at the Idaho Statesman.
Stevenson joined the Statesman’s breaking news team in 2021 from The Boston Guardian, where he covered the Boston city council, the mayor’s office and neighborhood issues. He grew up in Washington, D.C., where his interest in politics and journalism was piqued.
Stevenson graduated from Brown University, where he worked for the school’s newspaper. He later did an editorial internship at Harper’s Magazine.
