Northern Nevada Business Weekly seeks reporter

The Northern Nevada Business Weekly in Reno is looking for a new reporter.

Responsibilities Include (but are no limited to):

Conceives and executes original story ideas and spots daily news of interest to NNBW readers.
Originates enterprising story ideas and completes such assignments from the business editor on a wide range of topics.
Conceives photo and graphics ideas to help illustrate stories.
Develops a wide range of sources.
All other responsibilities required by the editor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum one-year newspaper reporting experience preferred.
Experience covering business preferred but not required.
Proven ability to write clearly and accurately, and meet deadlines.
Skilled in listening, learning and understanding other people.
Collegial, collaborative and decisive; comfortable with change and able to adapt.
Valid driver’s license.
