AIR QUALITY NEWS, ENVIRONMENT JOURNAL AND NEW START MAGAZINE are looking to add to the pool of freelancers that we work with. I’m currently accepting pitches on air quality, the environment (climate crisis, biodiversity, net zero, etc.), economic development, housing and regeneration that would be interesting to our audience of industry experts and policy makers.
ABOUT THE COMPANIES
AIR QUALITY NEWS: The issue of air quality is now firmly on the lips of city leaders — with towns and cities across the UK drawing up their visions of a low-emissions future. At this pioneering moment, Air Quality News will be covering all the breaking news, key developments as well as interviewing key figures and holding them to account.
ENVIRONMENT JOURNAL: Environment Journal aims to highlight cutting edge practice from across the globe, champion innovation and lead debate on the key sustainability issues facing local government and its partners in the UK. It is bridging the gap between those who are developing solutions to pressing issues ranging from pollution to greener transport and practitioners tasked with putting ideas into practice.
NEW START: New Start is ‘articulating the alternative’ for places. Writing about a new local economics. Sharing ideas and solutions. New Start was launched as the UK’s first regeneration magazine in February 1999. Since then it has told the stories of the people and projects creating social and economic change in local areas in the UK and internationally. It is now owned by Spacehouse.
