MeanPug Digital is looking for legal writers

MeanPug Digital is looking for legal writers to support their legal clients.  If you are only interested in writing a few assignments a month or if you can take on new projects every week, we want to hear from you!

ABOUT THE COMPANY

MeanPug is a full-service digital marketing agency for law firms that views each of our clients as true business partners. We love helping law firms grow, and our personalized approach to our work reflects that. Unlike other legal marketing agencies that may only offer one service, we do it all. We love to get in the trenches with our clients and help them find the hidden opportunities that will launch them to the next level of success.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The writers we hire should be comfortable with researching and writing about unfamiliar topics and transforming often complex legal or medical information into digestible copy that readers can easily understand.

Assignments may include SEO local web pages, legal practice area pages, blog posts, and more. You will work closely with our content managers, who will assign and review your copy and provide you with client-specific style guides.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Legal writing experience preferred
  • Experience writing SEO-optimized blog posts and web pages
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices: Including internal/external linking, SEO-optimized headlines, meta descriptions, incorporating keywords, etc.
  • Adaptability to new style guides
  • Willingness to use content management systems: Our agency currently uses GatherContent

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Include your resume
  • We’d like to see three samples of your writing (this can be linked to web content or PDFs)
  • We offer hourly rates and by 1,000 words.

COMPENSATION

Reports indicate that this opportunity will pay: $9.81 – $35.00 an hour
