The reporter would be based in New York and join HuffPost’s growing business team.
We’re looking for someone with a smart and engaging voice who can write original provocative pieces for HuffPost’s huge audience. The writer should understand how to craft stories for an online audience — integrating graphics, art and sharp prose into pitch-perfect pieces that resonate with our huge audience.
The writer should have at least three years of editorial experience covering business and be eager for the opportunity to write about the fast-changing retail environment. We are looking for someone who can tease out the cultural implications behind the shifts in shopping trends.
The writer should come with an entrepreneurial spirit, tons of ideas and feel comfortable writing short dailies and longer pieces as needed. The ability to convey curiosity and humor is a huge plus.
