CNBC is seeking a business news-oriented multimedia reporter to join their growing digital video network. The position is an ideal opportunity for writers and producers who possess in-depth knowledge or markets and politics and their convergence.
The role includes pitching, creating and owning smart original projects, including spearheading episodic series to publish across CNBC’s digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Applicants must be team players and also should be excited to collaborate with other reporters and producers on their stories as well. Additionally, applicants must also be talented creative editors with a passion for visual storytelling.
Editorial judgment, writing and editing experience are paramount. Writing articles to go along with the videos is also expected.
Candidates must have 4 years of experience with all aspects of digital video production including scripting, shooting, editing, lighting and such, mastery of DSLR cameras, voice-over writing experience, understanding of multimedia storytelling, should have a bachelors degree and other relevant skills.
