Business Insider is looking to hire an associate news editor. The company runs a 24-hour news site with L.A. being an important part of that operation.
The LA news team works a night shift covering breaking news as part of the company’s 24/7 global news operation that spans New York, LA, Australia, and London. Hence, the company is on the lookout for someone who would be willing to work a Sunday to Thursday schedule, from 2 p.m. PT to around 10:30 p.m. PT.
This role will be varied and fast-paced and require candidates to coordinate with Business Insider’s global news team on daily coverage as well as breaking stories.
This is a dual writer-editor role based in L.A.
