Nikkei Asia has named Pak Yiu its U.S. news editor based in New York.
He will be driving its U.S-Asia coverage from business, finance to politics, with some writing on the side.
Yiu previously was a Hong Kong correspondent for the news service. He also worked at Reuters and at Agence France-Presse.
He is a graduate of the University of Queensland.
