Gulfshore Business magazine, a publication of Open Sky Media, is seeking an assistant editor to work in its Naples, Florida, office.
The assistant editor will work closely with the editor in chief to produce this monthly business-to-business publication, as well as a quarterly real estate publication.
The ideal candidate will have two to five years of magazine and/or newspaper experience, with solid and demonstrated writing and editing skills. Knowledge of web publishing, CMS systems and social media is preferred.
Duties will include: line-editing copy, story assignment, production of a daily electronic newsletter, website and social media updates, and helping the editor in chief generate story ideas. A college degree is preferred. Health care benefits.
