Globe and Mail seeks business reporter to cover finance

The Globe and Mail is looking for an experienced reporter to join the Report on Business team.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets and corporate deal-making. We’re looking for someone who can break stories, develop contacts, and provide insights into the world of corporate Canada.

This person will have a proven record of delivering unique and accurate business coverage and who is eager to work with other reporters and editors in a team-driven environment.

The successful applicant should have a passion for business and a good understanding of the major players in Canadian finance.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
