Debtwire seeks high-yield bond reporter

Debtwire, part of Acuris, is the global market leader for real-time independent news, analysis and data on leveraged finance. For more than 10 years, we have established a track record of scoop-driven journalism based on our pioneering approach towards covering credit-specific situations.

We are currently looking for a high yield corporate bond reporter to focus on breaking news on all aspects of the high yield bond primary market.

The role will be based in New York and the successful candidate will also have the ability to regularly attend out-of-town source meetings and conferences from time to time. The role will also involve collaborating regularly with our data and analysis teams.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
