cnbc_logo CNBC seeks its markets producer for data at its Englewood Cliffs, N.J., home office.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Director of Markets and Data News, reporters, and shows primarily on markets-related and data-supported coverage for financial news-based network.
• Brainstorm and pitch ideas, research topics and work closely with team to develop stories, break news, and produce segments in studio.
• Utilize various data aggregation and analysis tools to discover or support both market-driven and enterprise segments and franchises.
• Work with Line Producers to produce segments in show rundowns and drive elements in control rooms when going to air.
• Communicate with CNBC newsdesk editors on breaking news.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have deep understanding of stock markets and economic policies with a global perspective.
• Must exhibit excellent news judgment and willingness to learn data-intensive research processes.
