Bloomberg Television seeks Hong Kong reporter

Bloomberg Television is seeking an experienced journalist to join the team based at our Asia headquarters in Hong Kong, as we expand our content.

You’ll be involved in reporting into our 5 hours of live news shows out of the Hong Kong studio and where required elsewhere around the region. You may also be called upon to report live for our other Bloomberg TV centres, in London or New York. You will also work on reports and programmes from the field. Experience in live television reporting is highly desirable, but not essential.

Qualifications:

– 5 years or more of journalism/TV experience
– Good presentation skills
– Live reporting experience preferable
– Strong packaging/writing skills
– Knowledge of business and Asian region

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
