CNBC hires Wilkins as a reporter in London

Joseph Wilkins

Joseph Wilkins has been hired as a reporter for CNBC Pro in Londion.

Wilkins joins from the Financial Times, where he most recently served as chief reporter for FT Adviser’s Asset Allocator

He also held following roles as funds correspondent, and markets fellow at Business Insider, covering global macro trends, stock movers, currencies and commodities.

He holds a master’s in global financial journalism from City, University of London, a degree in economics and politics from the University of Bath.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
