Bloomberg Television seeks producer in Hong Kong

Bloomberg Television is looking for an experienced producer to join the team, as we expand our programming and digital output in Asia. The role is based in Bloomberg Media’s Asia Headquarters in Hong Kong.

We’re looking for a producer with a creative streak – a storyteller able to use all the tools available to make great television for those interested in business. You will join the team helping to produce our 5 hours of live news shows, every weekday morning. You may also work on some of our feature and long-form shows, filmed across the region. Experience in field work or long-form programmes would be advantage, but is not essential.

Qualifications:

– Good English TV writing skills
– 5 years or more of journalism/TV production experience
– Live control room experience
– Knowledge of business and Asian region
– Ability to travel

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
