Bloomberg News seeks a hungry, curious and experienced reporter to cover the twin worlds of venture capital and Silicon Valley startups.
The individual will be expected to break news and conduct analysis of the biggest venture-capital investments and exits of the year, as well as to delve meaningfully into the rush of capital into unproven startups from angel investors, trend-chasing private equity firms and secretive sources of overseas capital.
This position requires a reporter who understands the fund-raising process and can build credibility with investors and quickly get up to speed on new companies, industries and trends. A skeptical eye is a plus.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Minimum of three years of business and financial journalism
-Experience working in a real-time news environment
