Bloomberg News seeks a government bonds and currencies reporter for its Toronto office.
This person will be responsible for producing daily columns in real time covering markets including federal and provincial government bonds, Canadian corporate credit, the Canadian dollar and other G-10 currencies.
This person will also be required to produce feature stories about the same asset classes, and will be expected to cover other Canadian markets as needed. The candidate should have previous experience in reporting on finance or business.
Requirements:
– A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is essential.
– Previous financial markets or business journalism experience is essential.
– Ability to write quickly, concisely and accurately under tight deadline pressure.
– Real time news experience is a plus.
