Bloomberg News seeks an editor to oversee U.S. college endowments.
The Role:
-Develop and maintain proprietary models to manage Bloomberg’s database of U.S. college endowments.
-Help ensure that the function for these multi-billion-dollar investing pools remains up-to-date and user-friendly.
-Aid with editing and reporting endowment stories.
-Candidate will work with the Endowments team leader, News reporters and R&D programmers to ensure best practices are met.
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
-Ideal candidate will have expert Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
-Ability to meet deadlines and logically tackle problems
-Knowledge of investing and higher education considered a plus.
-Commitment to enhancing and developing products
-Effective research, analysis, and communication skills
