American City Business Journals is seeking a social media specialist.

In concert with the digital marketing director, this specialist will use their social media skills and expertise to create and develop thoughtful plans and processes on all social platforms. These efforts should increase engagement, drive audiences to site, increase brand awareness and acquire new followers.

He or she will be invited to learn to understand and assess ACBJ’s professional demographic in order to connect to business-minded audiences and to fuel a passion for social media by staying up-to-date with the latest social trends and platform updates.

The successful candidate will require advanced knowledge of social media, a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications or journalism, strong written and verbal communication, customer relation, and project management skills, strong attention to detail, timelines, and follow-through, an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and advanced knowledge of digital marketing principles and social media best practices.
