Bina Venkataraman will be stepping down from her two-year stint as editorial page editor of The Boston Globe next month.
She will continue as editor-at-large to work on special projects and will also advise on the launch of The Emancipator, an opinion journalism joint venture between the Globe and Boston University.
She has also previously reported and written stories on energy, science, medicine, and the environment for the Globe.
She has also taught at MIT and was director of global policy initiatives at Broad Institute. She has also worked at The New York Times, where she investigated, wrote, and published stories as a reporter.
Venkataraman has a B.A. from Brown University and a master’s in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
