The Financial Times has hired Barbara Moens to cover competition and tech in Brussels.
She will start in January.
Moens is chief EU correspondent at Politico, based in Brussels. Prior to joining Politico, Moens covered Belgian politics for the Belgian national daily De Tijd.
She studied at the KU Leuven, the Université de Strasbourg, the University of Brussels and Vlerick Business School, and holds master’s degrees in history and international relations.
Moens was a Fulbright scholar at the Missouri School of Journalism and now teaches journalism at the University of Brussels.
