The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age have launched twice-daily audio news bulletins which are accessible through smart speakers and podcast platforms.
The morning and afternoon bulletins will be presented by Herald and The Age journalists, covering topics including local, national and world politics, business, sports, and entertainment in a three-minute news hit.
Tory Maguire, executive editor of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age said:
“Launching these twice-daily news briefings is a natural step for the Herald and The Age, and allows us to showcase our agenda-setting reporting to a whole new audience. We’re always looking for ways to make the most of our journalism and this brings together the success we’ve had with our daily newsletters and the podcast team so far.”
