Annie Blanks will be joining the San Antonio Express News via Report for America to cover the city of San Marcos.
Currently, she is a reporter at the Pensacola News Journal.
Her last day is August 6.
Previously, she has also reported for Northwest Florida Daily News and Clay County Progress. She was also founder and editor-in-chief of Her Campus Sewanee.
Blanks graduated from the University of the South.
