Morris joins NY Times as a reporter
The New York Times has hired Amanda Morris as a reporter covering disability issues and stories for the National Desk.
Morris joins from The Arizona Republic where she was a multimedia bioscience reporter. She has also covered various topics, including politics, breaking news, and national enterprise stories for The Associated Press.
She has also worked at NPR, CNN and WNYU Radio.
Morris has freelanced for The Rational Creature and NYC Community Media.
She has also interned at The Hartford Courant, CNN, MSNBC, Republican-American, PTV Media s.r.o. and Scholastic.
She has also written for Washington Square News.
Morris is a B.A. in journalism from New York University.
