Courtney Beesch is joining The Washington Post as a social media editor on the Instagram team.
Her new role begins Apr. 5.
Beesch joins from C-SPAN, where she has been a digital media producer since 2019, focusing on graphics, video and data visualizations for the outlet’s social accounts. Before that, she held the post of production assistant.
Under her leadership, C-SPAN’s Instagram account has more than doubled its engagement.
Beesch has also served as a digital coordinator and as a multimedia fellow at No Labels. She has also held the posts of graphic reporter, graphics editor and multimedia director at The State Press (ASU Student Media).
She has also worked as a graphic design intern at Compass Strategies AZ and as a graphic designer at The Wilson Center.
Beesch is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in media analysis and public policy.
