Kim Gittleson, on-air podcast host at The Wall Street Journal, is leaving the Journal to join the senior audio team at The Economist.
Previously, Gittleson was with BBC News where she first served as a New York business correspondent and then as a senior journalist. Before joining BBC, she was teaching at the Columbia University, New York.
Gittleson also worked as a business development MBA intern at Gimlet Media. She also held the posts of producer and business reporter at Freakonomics and BBC News, respectively. Additionally, she served as a contributing producer at WNYC Radio and also as a blogger at Chalkbeat.
Gittleson has also interned at Slate magazine and was a Fulbright fellow at the U.S. Department of State.
Gittleson is a B.A. in history and literature from Harvard University. She earned her master’s degree from Columbia University.
