The Wall Street Journal announced Monday it now is available for purchase at 450 local Starbucks company operated stores across the New York market.
This new distribution agreement comes as the Journal prepares to launch its anticipated New York section next month.
The Journal is available in New York-area Starbucks locations, including parts of New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, offering Starbucks customers more options when choosing their national paper. The Wall Street Journal is the No. 1 newspaper in the U.S. in total paid circulation.
“This strategic relationship is consistent with the Journal’s plan to target New Yorkers, especially with the upcoming new section that will debut next month,” said Lynne Brennen, senior vice president of circulation for The Journal, in a statement. “The targeted distribution across New York area Starbucks stores allows us to serve our readers and is another platform for customers to sample its broad array of coverage.”
