Saumya Vaishampayan, who covers the currency markets in The Wall Street Journal’s Hong Kong bureau, is leaving the paper to attend law school.
Her last day is Friday.
Vaishampayan previously wrote about U.S. stocks and options for the Journal in New York. She has been at the Journal since July 2014.
She previously spent 18 months working at MarketWatch.com, another Dow Jones operation, covering financial markets.
Vaishampayan is a graduate of Tufts University.
