Marketplace magazine, a business magazine that covered Wisconsin, is closing after 21 years, reports Richard Ryman of the Green Bay Press Gazette.
Ryman writes, “The magazine, based in Oshkosh, published for 21 years and covered the wide range of businesses in this part of the state.
“Another business magazine, Insight, was launched in April 2008 by former Marketplace employees, including co-owners Margaret LeBrun and Brian Rasmussen. A third owner, Rick Berg, left the organization last month.
“‘It’s hard to see Marketplace go. We all have some roots there,’ LeBrun said Thursday.
“Marketplace was published every four weeks and is owned by Journal Community Publishing Group, a unit of Journal Communications, which also owns the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Journal Broadcast Group.”
