Phil Lewis, the editor of the Naples Daily News, writes Sunday about what readers have suggested to the paper as content for a Sunday business section, which the paper is considering bringing back.
Lewis writes, “Weeks back we told readers we were thinking about bringing back a Sunday business section and asked for suggestions on the content.
“Here’s a sampling of the responses:
‘Like to see an advice column — a question-and-answer style — discussing good stocks, bonds, annuities, insurance, etc. A Dr. Gott of the financial world.’
‘It should concentrate on national business news rather than local, which is well covered during the week.’
‘Focus on mom/pop businesses.’
‘News on national plans to boost economy and how Florida is going to participate.”
