Aaron Tilley is joining The Information as a reporter.
He will cover Apple and the broader hardware sector, starting Dec. 4.
Tilley was previously reporting for Forbes, where he got the scoop on Apple making its first wireless Bluetooth chip and did a series of in-depth pieces on how artificial intelligence is changing the chip world.
Tilley has been at Forbes since April 2013, first as an assistant producer. Before that, he interned at the San Francisco Business Times, GreenBiz Group and Seattle Business magazine.
He is a University of Washington graduate in international studies.
