For the past four years, the Certified Financial Analyst Institute in Charlottesville, Va., has published an online newsletter for financial reporters on trends and issues in the investment world. You can see the November issue here.
However, this will be the last issue. The explanation given was: “For the past four years, the Financial Journalist Newsletter has brought journalists the latest information and story ideas about financial statement analysis and corporate disclosure practices. This will be the last issue of the Newsletter, but not the end of educational opportunities from CFA Institute. Readers of the Newsletter who want to learn more can visit www.cfainstitute.org/pressroom to access resources such as Web seminars, an issues index and Newsletter archives. CFA Institute thanks its readers and everyone who made the Newsletter possible.”
The CFA is a great resource for reporters, and I encourage you to contact Kathy Valentine if you have any questions about related topics. She can be reached at kathy.valentine@cfainstitute.org or 434-951-5348.
