Business Insider has hired Samantha Stokes as its new professional services reporter covering consulting firms, accounting firms and more.
Most recently, Stokes was a staff reporter at The American Lawyer covering the business of law and bankruptcy, law firm financials, politics, real estate, legal ethics and diversity issues. She has also worked as an investigative reporter at Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting.
Stokes was also newsletter editor at Citius and held the posts of reporter and social media intern at Missouri Business Alert and Bustle, respectively. She has also served as contributing writer at Vox Magazine writing features, cover stories and culture pieces.
Additionally, she also worked at Columbia Missourian as an enterprise reporter and served as a publications intern at Situs RERC.
Stokes is a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and was a Stabile Investigative Fellow at the university.
