The South Florida Business Journal has hired Jessica Bryant as its new data reporter.
A story on its website states, “Bryant, a Miami-Dade County native, will oversee planning, surveying and analyzing information for the Business Journal’s popular weekly Lists, as well as write stories based on data from the Lists and other research.
“‘I’m very excited about this position because I love business and working with data,’ Bryant said. ‘I look forward to creating the Lists and writing stories on what the numbers say about the companies and industries that we cover.’
“A recent Southern Methodist University journalism school graduate, Bryant previously served as a reporting intern for the Dallas Business Journal. While there, she wrote more than 40 stories and oversaw various key Lists, including Women-owned Businesses and Highest-Paid Public Company CFOs.”
