The Boston Herald launched a new feature in its business section on Friday aimed at attracting small business owners as readers.
The Herald launched “Small Business Matters: by former Herald Business Reporter Jennifer Heldt Powell. The column will cover issues important to those starting and running small companies, and will profile businesses and the people who make them work.
It’s not surprising that there’s a growing appetite for small business coverage, given that small business is often described as the engine that drives the state and national economy.
