San Antonio Biz Journal hires real estate reporter

Katie Burke has been hired as the commercial and residential real estate reporter for the San Antonio Business Journal.

A story on its website by James Aldridge states, “The San Francisco native will bring fresh eyes to the paper and looks forward to reporting on breaking and investigative news within the San Antonio business community. She is replacing Stephanie Guzman, who left the paper to pursue new opportunities in New Mexico.

“Burke comes to San Antonio after working for the San Francisco Business Times, a sister paper to the San Antonio Business Journal. She has also written extensively for specialty publications throughout the Bay Area.

“She graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 with degrees in journalism and art history.”
