She was also a news writer at TPM Media LLC and an assistant producer at PRETTYBIRD, both in New York. She was also a production intern at MSNBC. She has previously also interned at NBC News and The Hill.
Richards has a B.A. in anthropology from Stanford University and an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
