Alisa Bowen, a current Thomson Reuters executive, has been named general manager of The Wall Street Journal Digital Network, the company’s consumer digital business group.
Bowen will drive strategy, development and operations for market-leading products including WSJ.com, Barrons.com, MarketWatch.com, SmartMoney.com, AllThingsD.com and their mobile applications.

Alisa has the background and skill to expand the digital potential of our current brands and to continue to pioneer new products and platforms to help us achieve our goals,” said Todd Larsen, president of Dow Jones, in a statement.
WSJ.com and other digital Dow Jones products count more than 1.1 million paying subscribers and attract premium advertising to their affluent and influential reader demographic. In the most recent quarter, digital ad revenue at the Journal jumped 29 percent.
Bowen, who joins Dow Jones on Dec. 13, had been senior vice president and head of business operations, Reuters Media, at Thomson Reuters. In nearly 10 years at the company, she previously was the global head of consumer publishing and was responsible for global product development, general manager of Reuters.com and a business analyst and media strategist.
