Puget Sound Business Journal has tapped Joey Thompson as a health care and retail reporter.
He joins from The Daily Herald of Everett, where he has covered south Snohomish County, COVID-19 and data visualization.
He was also a contributing writer at The Spokesman-Review and has interned at Snohomish County Tribune (Mach Publishing). He has also worked at The Associated Press.
Thompson has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Gonzaga University, where he has also worked at the student newspaper.
