Wall Street Journal reporter Dave Sebastian was among the layoffs last week when it reorganized its Asia operations.
He has been in Hong Kong covering Asia equity markets.
He joined the Journal in 2019 after he was a Dow Jones News Fund business reporting intern on the spot news desk over the summer and then worked as a spot news reporter.
Sebastian graduated from Boston University, where he studied journalism, economics and business. Among the places he has interned are Innovation Leader, Bloomberg Law, WBUR and Voice of America.
