Michelle Caffrey has been hired by the Philadelphia Business Journal as its new technology and education reporter.
Editor in chief Craig Ey writes, “Caffrey comes to the Business Journal from NJ Advance Media, where she covered Burlington and Camden counties for NJ.com and the South Jersey Times. In five years in South Jersey, she earned multiple New Jersey Press Association awards, most recently for an investigation into a prominent mayor’s campaign finances.
“She holds a B.A. in English from Drew University, where she was the managing editor of her college paper and spent a semester in London. Outside of reporting, she’s an avid reader, history enthusiast and Phillies fan with a taste for craft brews.”
