An online business news service plans to launch in Hamilton, Ontario later this week.
A story in the Hamilton Spectator states, “YourHamiltonBiz.com is the second business-oriented digital platform being rolled out by Star Media Group. A similar project was launched in Mississauga in October.
“The news service is subscription based and includes a daily compendium of locally generated business stories delivered via email Monday to Friday at about 4 p.m.
“‘These will be quick, concise hits of unique business stories,’ said Mark Cripps, publisher and editor.
“‘These will be stories subscribers can use to grow their business and gain intelligence.’
“He expects the service to appeal to a broad range of people, including managers in the public service, small business owners and large corporations. The service is available for free for a month, before users are required to pay between $4 and $9 a week, depending on how long they subscribe.”
