Christine Haughney Dare-Bryan has joined NBC News as senior editor on the business, technology and media unit overseeing tech investigations and business enterprise stories.
Previously, she was assistant managing editor of special projects at Crain’s New York Business. She was also an investigative reporter working with the Boston Globe’s Spotlight Team on a project and was a senior investigations editor/series investigative reporter at Zero Point Zero Productions Inc.
She has also worked as a staff reporter at The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Business Journal and Crain’s New York Business. She was also an editorial aide/correspondent at The Washington Post.
Charles Herman has joined NBC News as a producer working with Stephanie Ruhle. He was the business and culture editor for WNYC New York Public Radio. Previously, he was a host “Brought to you by…” at Business Insider.
He also worked as an editor at Vox.com and was an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Additionally, Herman was with ABC News for more than 15 years. He joined as a writer, production assistant, desk assistant, Washington D.C. He then held the post of associate producer, World News Tonight, Washington, D.C. Then, he served as producer, Miami bureau before being promoted to the post of deputy bureau chief, Western bureaus and then serving as producer, business unit.
Haley Messenger returns to NBC News as an associate producer, business, tech and media unit. Previously, she has also interned in this unit. Before returning back, Messenger was with MSNBC working as a graphics production assistant, “The 11th Hour with Brian Williams.”
She was also a resident assistant at Fordham University and an intern at “Halftime Report” at CNBC. She was also a production assistant at WFUV Public Radio and a writer for Odyssey.
