The Missouri School of Journalism invites nominations and applications for the Donald W. Reynolds Chair in Business Journalism. This new endowed position, funded by a gift from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, will:
Develop and teach new courses at the undergraduate and master’s level in business journalism.- Work with other Missouri faculty, including the SABEW Chair in Business Journalism and faculty at the Trulaske College of Business, to develop curricular and extra-curricular programs for students interested in careers in business journalism.
- Collaborate with the Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism and other Reynolds business journalism chairs around the country in training and research programs aimed at improving the practice of business journalism.
- Work with the staff and fellows of the Missouri School of Journalism’s Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute on programs aimed at improving coverage of the new-technology industry.
Missouri is looking for talented journalists with the best track records in the country in covering business. The salary will be highly competitive. Missouri anticipates the appointment will be at the rank of full professor, professional practice (continuing non-tenure track).
