Christopher Matthews has been named deputy U.S. energy editor at The Wall Street Journal.
He will continue to write and report.
Matthews covers the oil and gas industry in Houston for The Journal. He previously covered white collar crime, law enforcement and courts in New York City. He also has written for the WSJ’s Risk and Compliance Journal in Washington, D.C.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland.
