Magazine renames itself Texas CEO

March 17, 2010

Business District Magazine changed its name to Texas CEO and expanded its circulation throughout the state, according to a story on the Austin Business Journal.

The story stated, “‘We decided to make the transition to a state-wide publication because our clients expressed interest in getting their message in front of high-level executives across the state, and not just in Central Texas,’ said Business District Publisher Jason Myers, who will serve as Texas CEO’s editor-in-chief.

“‘Our content comes primarily from talking with Texas business leaders and by hosting round table discussions throughout the state,’ he said.

“Pat Niekamp will serve as the renamed magazine’s publisher. She has worked in senior management, sales and marketing in the media industry for more than 20 years.

“The inaugural Texas CEO issue will be published next quarter and twice a month thereafter.”
